Annie Owen began her career as the picture editor of The British Journal of Photography and later for various London photographic agencies. Moving to Suffolk to bring up her children, she became an award winning children's book author and illustrator. Ever the multi-tasker, she now works as a photographer, art director and copywriter to great effect in the Hatt Owen partnership. Annie is also a keen printmaker with several recent exhibitions to her name. Annie's spare time takes her further east to rural parts of Asia when possible, or simply to wander in the emptier parts of East Anglia
Together, as Hatt Owen Design they have designed work for many different companies including: English Country Cottages, Country Life Butter, Hoseasons Holidays, Dragoman Overland, Pan MacMillan, Hodder and Stoughton, The Wildcard Company, Cirrus, DrawEast, The Polishing Company, Henleys Property and many others.
Tony Hatt worked for successful London design groups and advertising agencies before chasing his rural dream and setting up his own design company in East Anglia. As well as his stylish and individual graphic skills featured on this website, Tony's talents also include illustration and 3D design. When not tied to his computer he runs away to sea to sail his old wooden boat. It is therefore hardly surprising that his accomplished watercolours reveal his romantic view of the East Anglian skies and coastline.
